Will the Jews be Saved Just Before the Return of Christ? (Paperback)

Description: Many believe today that just before Christ returns that all the Jews on Earth will all be saved. This is based on a popular but erroneous interpretation of Romans 11:26: "And all Israel will be saved." This book argues that the false idea originated in pseudepigraphal literature and was mistakenly imbibed in the Premillennial eschatology of some early Fathers, and was inadvertently included in the Amillennial eschatology of some of the later Fathers and thus continued by some of the medieval theologians. This book provides thorough grammatical and historical exegesis of Romans 11:26, along with a contextual analysis of Romans 9 through 11, to show that "all Israel" does not refer to a future group of Jews but to all the Jews who have been saved since the days of Abraham. As such, a future conversion of Jews is not required for the return of Christ.
